Mike Vegas is an artist living in Los Angeles. His real name is Mike Dommermuth. He grew up in Las Vegas and received a BFA from UNLV in 1987. He moved to Los Angeles in 1988, and was awarded his nickname by a confused (some might say drunk) coworker in an effort to differentiate all the "Mike's" working at the same company. He has exhibited internationally and works in Painting, Drawing, Collage, and Photography. He is a legend in his own mind.
